Contact

There is no contact address on this site yet. The publisher's legal entity and its contact channel will be published together, and until then this page is honest about the gap. It also points you to the people who can act on a betting problem today: the operator's customer care centre, the Gambling Regulatory Authority and the self-exclusion route the law provides.

The honest position

Online Betting Kenya is a demonstration build. Its publisher has not yet published a legal entity, an e-mail address or a postal address, and no reply time is promised because there is nobody to promise it. When a channel is published it will appear here and on the about page, dated. Nothing on this page asks you to verify anything about the site; the site simply states what is and is not in place.

What a message to this site can help with

Once a channel exists, a message is useful for exactly four things: a section number or figure that does not match the gazetted text; a rule that has changed since the date shown on a page; a link that no longer opens; and a page that is hard to read or use, for example with a screen reader or on a small phone. The corrections page says what to include so the error can be checked against the primary source.

A message cannot help with a bet, a payout, a blocked account or a dispute with an operator. This site is not a party to any of those and has no standing to intervene. The table below says who does.

If your question is about

Where to take a betting matter in Kenya, with the rule that makes that the right place
Your question is aboutThe right placeWhy
A bet, a payout, your account or a chargeThe operator's customer care centreSection 68(8) of the Act requires an online operator to maintain a customer care centre within Kenya. Regulation 9(2)(d) of L.N. 112 of 2026 makes the centre report any matter you raise to the Authority within two days.
A complaint the operator has not resolvedThe Gambling Regulatory AuthorityRegulation 9(2)(e) of L.N. 112 requires a complaint unresolved after 72 hours, or one you ask in writing to escalate, to be referred to the Authority. Receiving and determining public complaints is one of the Authority's functions under section 10(m).
Reaching the AuthorityToll-free line 0800-723-770, as shown on gra.go.keThe regulator's website lists the toll-free line in its footer and gives its office as ACK Garden Annex, 7th floor, Bishop Road and 1st Ngong Avenue, Nairobi, open Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The site also lists e-mail addresses, several of them from the Board era, so this handbook does not treat any one of them as certain.
Stopping yourself from bettingThe operator, in writing, or the Authority on Form 1Section 115(1) lets you enter a self-exclusion agreement with a licensee covering all gambling. Regulation 70(1) of L.N. 112 lets you apply to the Authority on Form 1 with a copy of your national ID or passport. The help page explains both.
Appealing a decision about an online betThe Gambling Appeals TribunalSection 80 of the Act allows a party to an online gambling dispute to appeal to the Tribunal within 14 days, and regulation 18 of L.N. 115 requires the Authority's own mechanisms to be used first.
Your personal data at a betting siteThe operator first, then the Office of the Data Protection CommissionerSection 26 of the Data Protection Act, 2019 gives you rights of access, correction and deletion, and section 56 lets you complain to the Data Commissioner, who must conclude the complaint within 90 days.

A note for operators

This site publishes no listings, sells no placement and runs no reviews, so there is nothing to apply for. Operator names appear only as plain text, spelled as the Authority's published list spells them, and never as hyperlinks. A correction to a statement of law is welcome once a channel exists, but it will be checked against the gazetted text, not accepted on assertion, and no draft is shared with any operator before publication.
